    Well, I love the weekends-- they go much too fast though.

    wonderful weekend activities
    -- journaling
    -- company of awesome people
    -- slow walks
    -- listening to the radio
    -- cooking  and eating white wine and rosemary chicken with wild rice and steamed carrots (strawberry shortcake for dessert)
    -- reading Vanya, The Five Love Languages for Singles and Praying God's Word (Also Colossians :))
    -- swinging in a hammock and watching the sun fade and the sky turn the deepest blue highlighted by a full moon
    -- Church (sermon on God's will by Steve DeNeff= amazing)
    -- old time church camp mtg
    -- laughing
    -- talking to my family
    -- so many more I'm sure...

  • I love how God cares about the little details and the big events...
            He gives us HUGE blessings and then is like and "Oh yeah, by the way, here is that sunset you were wanting." or hat (insert fun story here) or friend calling or whatever. He is able -- and does -- immeasurably moer than we can ask or imagine.

    By the way, I sometimes don't know how to really love people. Do you ever have that problem-- like I get stuck on "I wish you were..." or "I wish you would..." or "You shouldn't be..." until I am too crowded to see them, to love them, to see Jesus in them...
    Oswald Chambers was talking once about how there was no man he could totally despair of after seeing what was in him apart from the grace of God... that really resonated with me and I want to live like that... like every person is lovable and worthy of my esteem-- as if every person I meet is Jesus in disguise-- and I myself am Him in disguise...
